Accessibility Statement
Last updated 21 June 2026
We want everyone in a school or trust — including people who use assistive technology — to be able to use Ceidwad. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML so screen readers can navigate the content.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
- Aim for sufficient colour contrast for text and controls.
- Respect your "reduce motion" setting for animations.
- Write in plain English, with technical detail available but never required.
Known limitations
We're still improving. Areas we know need work: [list any known issues, e.g. some printed document tables, third-party embeds]. We're working to fix these.
Tell us about a problem
If you hit an accessibility barrier, please email accessibility@ceidwad.co.uk with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within [response time, e.g. 5 working days] and to fix issues as quickly as we can. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
How we test
We test with automated checks and keyboard/screen-reader spot-checks across desktop and mobile. This statement was prepared on 21 June 2026 and reflects the current state of the site; we'll review it as the product changes.
